The Newseum has teamed up with the National Cherry Blossom Festival for the first Newseum Night of the year. Newseum Nights: In Bloom is slated for Friday, April 12th, a celebration of the official arrival of spring in D.C. Get dressed up in your finest cherry-blossom pink and head to the Newseum at 8 p.m. for the festivities.

Have a haiku written in your honor by the Haiku Guys and Gals. Grab a cherry blossom-themed cocktail or a glass of wine from the bar. Create a paper lantern with the help of an expert from Paper Source. Or nibble on Asian bites courtesy of The Source by Wolfgang Puck. These are just a handful of the activities on the itinerary for Newseum Nights: In Bloom, so snag a ticket now. General admission costs $60 with discounts offered for museum members.
