You won’t want to miss the Parade of Nations at this year’s Latino Festival. It showcases skilled dancers, colorful costumes, and floats decked out with stunning decorations for the occasion. The festival kicks off at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 16th at the intersection of Constitution Avenue and 7th Street NW, and it continues throughout the afternoon.

The Parade of Nations is only a small part of what the Latino Festival, AKA Fiesta DC, has to offer. The celebration continues on September 17th with a whole array of attractions and activities in downtown DC. Stop at the diplomatic pavilion to meet staffers from the embassies that represent Spanish-speaking countries. Check out the arts and crafts tent, where local vendors sell their handcrafted items, then grab a meal from one of the food trucks or vendors that will dish out authentic international cuisine.
