In 2013 a group of music lovers, former DJs, and music industry insiders collaborated to open Flash, which quickly became a popular and well-regarded DC music hotspot. Located just moments from Hodge on 7th, this club regularly books prominent, internationally known DJs to spin a wide variety of house styles, from techno to deep.

When you visit, you’ll be able to choose between several different spaces in the club, depending on what kind of experience you’d like to have. Head to the bar on the ground floor for a lively dance floor, energetic music, and a fully stocked bar serving up hand-crafted cocktails. Head upstairs to the club level if you’d like a slightly more relaxed and music-focused experience. On the club level, you’ll find an enhanced sound system and studio-quality DJ booth, and although dancing is definitely encouraged, there’s also wall-to-wall bench seating for patrons who simply want to focus on listening to the music.
