Nothing screams fall like the kickoff of football season. If you are a fan of the great American pastime and like to root for your local team, be sure to check out the opening day for the Washington Red Skins. This year’s opening day falls on Monday, September 12th this year, and it will take place at FedExField against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Tickets for the game start at $72, and FedExField is just a quick 20-minute drive from Hodge on 7th apartments. A parking lot is available so you can tailgate your heart out, and kickoff starts right at 7:10 p.m. If you can’t make it in person, the game will air live on ESPN.
