While most people would be ready for some rest and relaxation by the time they turn 90, legendary saxophonist and composer Jimmy Heath will spend his 90th birthday with a performance at DC’s famed Kennedy Center. Starting at 8 p.m., music lovers from across the city can take in a performance by the NEA Jazz Master and some of his famous friends.

Tickets to Jimmy Heath’s 90th Birthday Party range from $25 to $55, and the performance will take place in the venue’s stunning Concert Hall. Special guest appearances from Herbie Hancock, the Jimmy Heath Big Band, and more are scheduled, and this is sure to be an evening of music that you’ll remember forever.
